My Journey to Forgiveness

This is a journey for me. It’s also something I’ve never done before. I have done blogs before, but they were not what God wanted me to do. Over the last couple of days, beginning Wednesday, May 30th, the Lord has taken me on a journey of healing and forgiveness. He has brought me out of a pit of despair, oppression, depression, confusion, anger, bitterness. Years of hurt, scars, fear and mental anguish.

You may be thinking, “This woman is crazy!” On the contrary. I am perfectly alright. I have been healed of many things that have been pressing me down for years. And the Lord is going to use that to help you get out of your pit, too. Why? Because He loves you! Why would I tell my story? Because God has told me to. It’s time.

“And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.” ~Romans 12:2

This is for you. Whomever you are. Whether you know it or not, I have been sent to help you because right now, you are being beaten up mentally, emotionally, and spiritually, by other women (maybe some men, too). They may be your family. They may be friends. I don’t know. But God does.

Let me tell you what the devil did to me. Then let me tell you how the Lord delivered me from it! You won’t regret it. You may even be healed as you travel this journey with me. We’re going to laugh. We’re going to cry. And we’re going to learn how the Lord can help you. And He WILL! I promise. He promises. Trust me.

“The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” ~John 10:10

Are you ready? Great! Be watching for posts on my Journey to Forgiveness. They will be little stories from my life that will show you how I was mentally and emotionally abused by several women in my life over the years. Some that I love. You will learn what God wants to say to you through this journey. As we go along, you will see how God placed many different people in my life to help guide me in the direction that he needed me to go, in order to get me to the place that I am now. My journey can be your journey. I found the way out! And I’m here to show you the way out, too. Let’s journey together…
